Sons of Thunder Outreach Inc. is a non-profit
Catholic outreach organization made up of Catholic young people from St. Michael the
Archangel parish in Hudson Florida. Sons of Thunder Outreach Inc. features what some have
called, “one of the hottest rock and roll bands in
Christian music today” and uses this medium to reach out to the youth and
share with them the Good News of Jesus Christ and His Church.
The Holy Father, John Paul
II, calls us to a new evangelization in the coming Millennium. And in a special way, he
has handed the torch of that great evangelistic challenge to the youth of the world.
Clearly, young people have demonstrated they are eager to respond when they are presented
with ideals where they can channel their youthful vigor and enthusiasm. Music is an
essential part of the life of all young people. It influences their thoughts and their
actions; it can inspire them when it’s good; it can betray them when it’s bad.
It forms them in ways of which they are often unaware. In short, music is a powerful
influence in the lives of the young.
Young people are
